In light of the escalating trade war with China, Hudson Institute hosted a symposium regarding recent U.S. and Chinese tariffs and possible solutions to the mounting bilateral trade tensions. The event considered ideas from both Chinese and American think tank experts regarding the most recent round of tariffs and the lessons that can be learned from the history of U.S.-China relations. The Center for China and Globalization, China’s premiere policy research organization, introduced China’s concerns and recommended solutions to ending the present-day trade deadlock.
