A new approach to deploying 5G technology is rapidly emerging, potentially lowering capital costs and presenting an alternative to Huawei’s dominance in 5G infrastructure around the world.

The key technologies for “Virtual Networks” or the similar “Open RAN” networks are being developed by a wide array of software, computer, semiconductor, and radio technology companies. New systems using these technologies are being tested in the United States, Japan, and Europe, potentially allowing the U.S. and its allies to offer lower costs and more flexible alternatives to traditional mobile network systems requiring all infrastructure, software, and applications to be restricted to one vendor, such as Huawei.

Join Hudson as it hosts top industry experts to discuss the latest developments and real-world applications of the emerging technology. Hudson Senior Fellow Tom Duesterberg will moderate the discussion.
