**Please be advised: This event will premiere LIVE on this page at 12:00 p.m. EST, Friday, January 15.**

Join Hudson Institute for an expert panel discussion on where the India-U.S. partnership stands today and prospects for the months and years ahead. This conversation will be moderated by Dr. Aparna Pande, Director Initiative on the Future of India and South Asia, Hudson Institute.

The India-U.S. relationship is a decades-old, multi-dimensional partnership. The two countries share similar visions of the global security architecture, support the rules based international liberal order, and face similar geopolitical challenges. Yet, two decades after an American president and an Indian prime minister referred to their two countries as “natural allies,” the partnership remains far from becoming (as another American president put it) the “defining partnership of the twenty-first century.” Will the rise of China finally bring the two countries closer together to achieve their strategic goals? Our panelists will address this and other questions.
