Competition between the United States and China is in multiple spheres—particularly in the military space—quickly becoming one of the foremost challenges facing America today. Agility is crucial to succeeding in long-term competition, yet rigid budgetary practices by the Department of Defense make this difficult. Evidence suggests that China’s resource allocation process may, in some areas, be more adaptable than that of the U.S. government, which in many ways has not changed since the 1960s. The Future of US and Allied Hypersonic Missile Programs

Join Hudson for a workshop with congressional, government, and industry officials to discuss the future of the American hypersonic missile program. The Space Foundation’s Major General Heather Pringle, United States Air Force (ret.), will introduce a keynote address from Congressman Doug Lamborn (R-CO). Then expert panels will discuss the future of hypersonic missile offense and defense and how members of Congress can build a bipartisan consensus about the vital US hypersonic missile program.
